Re: Nexus4, JB 4.3, no available module since TC 2.02

I suppose that's the case. Since it would cause me a lot of trouble switching between ROM versions. I also have TC running on Galaxy Nexus on JB. And after update to TC 2.02, it still continues to work OK. Did you do that intentionally or was it just random luck that the new module happens to conti...

Nexus4, JB 4.3, no available module since TC 2.02

Hi, On Nexus4 JB 4.3 + franco Kernel r193, since the update of TouchControl 2.02, the app cannot download a compatible module. The only choice is Franco Kernel r204. I selected it and TC warns that the module is not compatible. Is it temporary or have you discontinued the support for JB 4.3? Thanks ...

How about the author of TouchControl himself? Any advice?

Please Recommend Kernel for Kitkat 4.4 (GNex and Nexus4)

Hi,

There are now some custom ROM deriving from Kitkat 4.4. What is the kernel would you recommend to use TouchControl? Devices are Galaxy Nexus and Nexus4.

In my case, the custom Kernel is only to make TouchControl work. I don't need any other features of the kernel.

Thanks in advance

GNex 4.2 and 4.3 TC sometimes failed to load after reboot

Hi, Using TC 1.85 on Galaxy Nexus. The ROM is SlimROM using leanKernel which I replace by franco Kernel nightly (forgot franco build number when the GNex was under 4.2, #392 for Android 4.3). TouchControl is set with default settings, only silde2wake and "Start at Boot" checked. With SlimROM 4.31 bu...

Re: Why mostly Nexus devices?

You could be a rich man if you can sell the idea of TouchControl to Google. Does Google people know such a cool thing is possible? This must be implemented natively in Android! You must somehow get help to patent this idea. If ever Apple is aware of this. They will patent it and you will be screwed!...

Re: Why mostly Nexus devices?

Oh wow, thank you for sharing the story which is quite straightforward actually. But pardon me for a silly question. So programming TouchControl is something you must have access to the hardware physically? For testing or is it because each hardware require a different module for TC? Let's say for a...

Why mostly Nexus devices?

Hi, What is the reason TouchControl target Nexus devices? Is it because they are easier to program? Author deliberate choice? Or simply because they don't have a home button so TC is more useful? I suppose owner of other devices would like to have TC working on their phone too. Just curious, thanks ...

Re: GN, Slim Bean ROM 4.3x how to enable TC?

UPDATE: Operation successful (For Galaxy Nexus) I use franco.Kernel updater Free to download the latest version (r392 as of this writing). Then flashed it via TWRP. Fortunately, the franco kernel seems to be compatible with the ROM I am using (Slim Bean ROM v4.31 build 2 stable). It has been just 10...
