'Grabbing' severely slows down internet on the 'target'

Postby Zeptinune » Sun Mar 31, 2013 12:17 pm

Just what it says. When pressing Grab there is a huge delay on the 'target' that is being grabbed. Also it seems that certain scripts and other web media like pictures and etc. can timeout and not load at all.

At first I thought that using 'grab' was actually killing the connection but it's just making it very... very slow.

Any ideas? Would a Logcat help identify the problem or is this a known issue?

Thanks mate :)

Wifikill grab function redirects (reroutes) all traffic through the mobile device. So if the target is trying to connect to google.com it will go through your device which will have to make that connection and "proxy" it back to him (not entirely true but the idea still stands). So the lags will occur if either your device CPU is not enough powerful to handle that much connections or if you have low wifi signal on that mobile device.
