wifi kill isnt working on my phone

i tried to use wifi kill with my galaxy nexus rooted 4.2.2 jb , it starts and find devices without any thing and when i kill any device it doesnt kill, for example my bro is using the internet and when i click on him nothing happen i dont know why my wifi kill version is 2.1 avg anti virus on my bro pc , please help me and keep it up =)

Some routers have arp spoofing protection which renders wifikill useless. It's not common but it does happen.
