Hi,

I have an new Nexus 4 and have just bought and installed "Touch Control (Nexus 4)".
Running Touch Control it says "No gesture found - module not working or not enabled".
Pressing the button next to "Load" I get a Pop-up:
"FAIL: I was unable to load any module, your kernel seems to be unsupported."

What am I doing wrong?

Already tried: Uninstalling, reboot, fresh install.

Android version:4.2.1
Kernel-Version: 3.4.0-perf-ge039dcb

Plz help. Thx. Maxl.
Are you rooted?
I got same problem but my device was unlocked & rooted with Android version 4.2.2 , Kernel-Version: 3.4.0-perf-g7ce11cd

You need to install kernel from the attachment in the first post.

Ok, I've updated the app to support latest 4.2.2 custom kernels (franco, faux, motley and trinity). Also in the first post I've posted the stock kernel with module support in form of boot.img so no need to reset kernel. Just take it and flash it :-)

What about OTA Updates After flashing the Kernel in the First Post?
Dont want to flash Updates because of one app.

Don't know what about ota. IMO it should work just fine. But you can always revert to stock when ota comes. Or don't use my app.

I installed kernel from you and application works again, thank you. But what about option "End call with power button", will you planned fix it?

hello

I've been looking around the forum if there are any specific kernel for cm10.1 rom, or if any version of the touch control for this rom and I have not gotten anything ... because the version of Touch Control 1.5b dont work in this rom...

Someone can give me that information please? and if not then i have to wait to Ponury release an update? :)

EDIT

i forgot: i have a nexus 4 with cm10.1 :)

Finally gave in and rooted the nexus 4 to use touch control. Its great but i have a few issues wondering if anyone has them as well.

I am on 4.2.2 using the kernel posted on the first page.

issue 1: there seem to be a noticeable battery drain over night. Unplugging it before going to bed at 100%, waking up with 88% 6 hrs later. anyone else?

issue 2: unlocking with touch control or the power button now creates a da-dum chime even when i have unlock sound in the sound setting unchecked. Is there a setting to set it as silent?

any insight is appreciated thx.
