Disabling hardware Button

Post by mshishv » Thu Apr 11, 2013 3:31 am

On nexus 4 4.2.2 I found out how to disable the hardware wake button by deleting all the text in /system/usr/keylayout/pmic8xxx_powerkey.kl

but this disables the slide2lock and slide2unlock as well.

so how can I have slide2lock and slide2wake working while have the hardware wake button disabled?

Thanks a lot in advance

I tried changing the keynum and in_device in "g_slide2wake" and g_slide2unlock at /proc/ponury folder but the values revert back to the original value.

Thanks a lot in advacne

and thanks for this great app

I've uploaded new paid version. It addresses the problem of screen being active while in call. Also it might help with screen freezes :)

You need to ask CM team to enable module support in their kernel. Then it will work :-)
