A lot of people ask me this so these are the most common causes of why it happens.
Note: this only applies if no error is reported!
- there is no-one in the wifi network using facebook at the moment
- wait for someone to use facebook (or other service listed as supported by faceniff)
- you have used your free 3 profiles limit in the past and now the app locked itself
- go buy a full version
- the other person is using SSL (https) or has a plugin that enforces this
- try SSLStrip (you can check when it would work here: http://forum.ponury.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=61)
- the other person enabled security settings on FaceBook
- the cause and solution is the same as to the question above - try SSLStrip
- the other person has some sort of firewall/antivirus (eset antivirus?)
- nothing can be done about that
- the network is secured (routers does not propagate false arp reply's)
- try using stealth mode or check if it works on other networks
- you executed WiFiKIll or other similar software which modifies iptables
- do not do this

Hi,
I'm just wondering, why do these kind of app doesn't work on my phone (xperia ray, stock rom)?
I also tried other app like droidsheep but it doesn't work too.
But I have tried wifikill and it worked.
What do you think is the problem?
Thank you.

You use SSL probably. Try Faceniff with sslstrip and see sslstrip help somewhere on this board

Oh! Thank you!
By the way, the problem is it can't scan any address (facebook, twitter etc.)
I'm using the trial version.
Is there any way aside from that? Because I want to be sure that this is going to work on my device before I buy it. I mean I wanna make sure if that's (sslstrip thing) really the problem.
Thank you, I hope you understand
Great app by the way.

If WiFiKill works then your network is vulnerable to arp-spoofing. So faceniff should work too. If you want to test it try demo version and make sure you don't use SSL.

No, I'm using https and I'm sure about that.
I think I have the same problem as this http://forum.ponury.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=358
